Methow Valley Community Events Calendar

If the great outdoors is where you like to be, Twisp may just have it all. In the spring and summer months, you can enjoy more than 400 miles of mountain trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding.

For a really scenic adventure, take a drive up Twisp River Road and enjoy the beauty of the Twisp River as it winds its way down through the Cascade mountains. About a half hour drive from Twisp, you can also find the breath-taking Black Pine Lake, nestled away in the national forest. And, if a camping trip is in order, you can find the perfect spot at any one of our numerous campgrounds.

In the fall, you'll find plenty of good hunting for white-tailed and mule deer, as well as excellent conditions for trout fishing. And, in the winter months, you can enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing and skiing. But before you come, be sure to check the pass reports and the weather. Two feet of snow can fall in the upper elevations in the course of 24 hours.

One of our biggest weekends of the year is the 4th of July holiday, which includes a parade, as well as Arts in the Park and Family Olympics, held at the Twisp City Park.

Other events throughout the year include the Twisp Christmas Bazaar and Mistletoe Madness. And, if music is your passion, be sure to check out the Cascadia Concert series. For complete details on these events as well as the many other activities going on in the Methow Valley, please check out the Methow Valley Community Events Calendar or e-mail us.
